“Popular” kids are not exempt from having problems, setbacks, or struggles of their own.
Before you decide that life would be better if a certain group liked you, ask yourself if you even like this group and how they behave.
Being included doesn't guarantee respect, and being liked isn't worth losing your true self to fit in.
Stop comparing yourself to others. This is guaranteed to lead to disappointment. There will always be someone with more than you... more money, more friends, more style, more of everything.
Who you surround yourself with matters. Teachers will judge you by this. Your parents’ friends will judge you for this. Even family members will judge you for this. Unfortunate, but true.
Your reputation will be defined by who you choose to spend time with, because who you spend time with will ultimately have an effect on your actions, beliefs and behaviors.
Qualities and values including kindness, creativity, humor, or integrity for example, are all things that matter far more than getting the mean girls to like you.
